McCain aide suspended over Twitter alert

Twitter has officially arrived. The mobile-phone-friendly, 140-characters-or-less, messaging/social-networking application today claimed its first political casualty, as a low-level McCain staffer was handed an "indefinite suspension" after sending a quick Tweet link to an attack video of Barack Obama speeches mashed up with his Reverend's sermons. We think this is a fine thing. In fact, we hope Twitter surpasses YouTube and forces CNN to conduct the general election debates exclusively in fractured txtspk and tinyurl links. Kthxbai!
