See this film: The Big Lebowski @ the Coolidge
Has anyone not yet seen The Big Lebowski (1998)? How about
twice? A hundred times? For those in the know there is no limit to how often
one should experience this quasi-religious comic epic by the Coen Brothers in which
Jeff Bridges plays the sui generis, White Russian-sipping, bathrobe-clad geek
demi-god, the Dude. Not to be mistaken for the shady millionaire of the title,
because then someone pisses on the Dude's rug and sets in motion a chain of
events involving nihilists, a topless performance artist played by Julianne
Moore, an attack ferret, and much bowling - none of which, thankfully, makes much
sense no matter how many times you see it.
