See this film retrospective: Seeing Is Believing: The Non-Fictions Of Errol Morris @ the Brattle

Nobody dances the fine line between truth and fiction as skillfully as the filmmaker celebrated in the Brattle retrospective Seeing Is Believing: The Non-Fictions Of Errol Morris. The series starts with what might be Morris's most famous film, The Thin Blue Line (1988), in which he employs his "non-fiction" skills to establish the truth: that Randall Dale Adams was not guilty of the murder for which a Texas court had sentenced him to death. As a result of the film, Adams was exonerated and set free. Thin Blue is a great complement to Morris's pal Werner Herzog's latest film, Into the Abyss.
