That's exactly the kind of idealistic cri de coeur you'd expect to hear from one half of JAPANDROIDS. We've been championing Vancouver's finest duo forevs, but it wasn't until their last swing through town at the Paradise that we got drummer David Prowse to come hang out at the WFNX.com studios for a guest-DJ spot. What transpired was part what-we're-listening to (Titus Andronicus, Swearin', King Tuff) but more of a musical philosphy delivered in the form of a playlist. Below, watch as Prowse and the Phoenix's own Liz Pelly talk about the band's influences, including the Replacements, the Clash, and -- yes -- Fugazi.
