Here's a fast-action head's up fit for a fun-filled Friday: volcanic Welsh rock trio THE JOY FORMIDABLE will be dropping by WFNX.com this afternoon to hang out, spin some tunes, talk about their new record Wolf's Law -- out January 22 here in the states via Atlantic Records -- and perform a stripped-down set live in our studios. Afternoon host Sabrina will be holding court with the crew, who should arrive around 1pm EST. We've told Ritzy, Matt and Rhydian that they could stay as long as they want. 

And we've already sent a memo to the Phoenix sales department, which shares a few walls with the WFNX on-air studio, about possible noise intrusion. It's going to get messy. But TGIF, right?
