Here's today's BOSTON ACCENTS playlist, setting the tone for the full-record stream of the DROPKICK MURPHYS new album, Signed and Sealed In Blood. Listen in tomorrow on WFNX as we are joined in the studio by Westland!
DROPICK MURPHYS “Tessie” -- It's Dropkicks Week here at WFNX, and we gave away a pair of passes to tomorrow's CD release party at McGreevys by asking this question, appropriate with yesterday's end to the NHL lockout: What's the name of the fight song the Dropkick Murphys wrote for the Boston Bruins roughly a decade ago? Answer: "Time To Go"
MISSION OF BURMA “Academy Fight Song” -- Excited to present Burma's January 19 show at the Sinclair in Cambridge. Get tickets here.
EX-MAGICIANS “Adirondack Bound” -- Playing that same right, over the Cambridge/Somerville line at Radio with Doom Lover, Nervous, and Vegans.
MISTER VERTIGO “Spear Hill” -- New record Taciturn out January 18 at T.T. The Bear's Place on a dual-record release party with Sammy Witness. The Lights Out and John Powhida International Airport also on the bill.
