Boston Accents 11.27.12: Little Spoon, M Reverdy Rhodes, Pretty & Nice, the Vital Might, the Field Effect, and Lounge Act

We did today's Accents on the fly, as we raced up from Fourth Wall Gallery post-Sky-Ferrerira to throw down some Boston rock and roll, and in the process, I ended up bringing members of PRETTY & NICE, STEREO TELESCOPE, THE SHILLS, TOTAL PROS up to the studio, as well as Richard Bouchard of BOSTON BAND CRUSH and Kevin Fowler of EVERYDAY IS A MIXTAPE, who will have a table at tonight's Treat Yo' Self party at Great Scott. Accidental afterparty was had by all. Hey, we're daily, sometimes ya gotta shake it up. Here's the playlist, we think...

LITTLE SPOON "Touch Me" -- Solo project from Cameron Potter, playing TTs tonight opening for Sky Ferreria.

M REVERDY RHODES "Martyr In The Meadow" -- Off new record Azaleas & Blackberries, posted today by the Sand Reckoner fellow, who also plays in Philly's Asteroid #4.

SAND RECKONER "Morning Star" -- So why not double-dip. Sand Reckoner plays Great Scott on December 13 with King Orchid, Blackbutton, and Yellabird.

PRETTY & NICE "Yonkers" -- Playing Great Scott tomorrow night for the Allston Pudding Mixtape showcase, alongside...

POLAROIDS "Sidewalk Cracks" -- this solo project from Tim Oxton, as featured in this week Phoenix Playlist, as well as...

JACK POMBRIANT "Somersoft" -- ...this Berklee dude's full band, We Can All Be Sorry. Solid bill all around.

LEFT HAND DOES "I Don't Know If I'm Driving" -- BA's favorite cut off LHD's new record, Encounter Safety, celebrated with a record release party on December 6 at O'Brien's in Allston.

THE FIELD EFFECT "Ogunquit ME" -- We had Bouchard of BBC in the studio, and he was plugging his December 14 show at Brighton Music Hall with Freezepop, Sidewalk Driver, Emily Peal, and these cats, a fave of the relaunched WFNX.

THE VITAL MIGHT "I Found You" -- Excellent cut off the band's new record, Eclipse, out December 8 at a gig at Radio in Somerville.

THE FATAL FLAW "You Need To Know" -- Debuted yesterday, a track Joel Reader wrote for his wife, Ashley. The Flaw are at the Middle East Thursday night for a free show with VHS Or Beta. RSVP HERE

PARLOUR BELLS "I'd Like To Think" -- Anngelle Wood's Lounge Act premieres this Thursday at Radio, featuring Goddamn Glenn & the Parlour Bells Players, who have a new record out next month, as well as...

SPF 5000 "White Hot Fantasy" -- ...this Somerville electro trio, who exchange getting down and dirty for getting sleek and polished proper for the lounge.
