Boston Accents 11.26.12: YET, Lifestyle, Bad Rabbits, Flat Swamp, Early Nineties, Child Actor, Moontowers

YET "L’Avenir" -- New track from Ryan Fleming, who posted the latest self-titled YET EP to Bandcamp in October, following up June's Optimystic EP. Fleming has no plans for live shows as he's busy traveling the country, but...

YET – "Don’t Need It All" -- ... he should as both these tracks are pretty killer, his vocals got the soul of Andrew Wood and Robert Plant.

MOONTOWERS “I will Follow You” -- Brand new track, posted today, from the band first featured on our Deep Heaven Now compilation. They're at Gallery 119 in Lowell on December 8 and the Middle East on December 29.

THE FATAL FLAW “You Need To Know” -- Joel Reader wrote this for his wife, Ashley (the Information/Servotron) while she was battling cancer. Get the full story here via OTD, as well as a free download of the song, and go see the Flaw for free when they play the Middle East on Thursday.

FLAT SWAMP “Dream-Babe” -- New band featuring Theo Hartlett making its live debut tomorrow night at the Middle East, a benefit for Prince Children's Education Fund, featuring Jessica Prouty Band and...

VIVA VIVA “Valentine” -- ... these cats, perhaps Boston's finest live rock and roll band, headlining the Reach Out and Rock party. Viva will also be our Boston Accents Song of the Day tomorrow for their new track "Halfway To Hell," but I wanted to shake it up on the show today.

SECRET SCHOOL “I O U (Backpack Remix)” -- Andrew Sutherland's Somerville-based electronic pop project, saw him months ago at Middlesex and I wish he'd play out more in a live setting.

CHILD ACTOR “Window” -- Hazy synth duo splitting time between Allston and Connecticut, featuring the enchanting vocals of Sedgie Ogilvy. This is off July's Window EP.

FLOATING HEADS “Beautiful Girls” -- Original demo from earlier in 2012 featuring Jessica Sun Lee, formerly of the Sun Lee Sunbeam and Secret Satellites. Band rounded out now by Leo White and they play the Plough & Stars on December 12 with Cat Sounds. Meow.

EARLY NINTIES “XLR” -- Duo of Adam McGinn and Andy Kai Nagashima starting to build a buzz around town, and playing the Middle East with Penguin Prison on Saturday.

LIFESTYLE “Whereabouts Unknown” -- First cut off the 'Style's new EP Artificial (not Artifact as I mistakenly called it on air -- my bad!). Get the EP at a show or via Bandcamp, where it charted nationally last week.

EDDIE JAPAN “A Town Called Nowhere” -- Normally we'd spin "You Will Find Me Dead In My Comfort Zone" but we decided to shake it up with another sterling track off the band's recent Modern Desperation Part 1 EP.

SUSAN CONSTANT “Locked Up” -- Our BA Song of the Day for today, new record Shapes is out in January.

BAD RABBITS “We Can Roll” -- Spinning this three shows in a row, fuck it, I love it as a closer. And speaking of closers, the Rabbits end 2012 with a party at Brighton Music Hall in Allston on December 31 with Herra Terra.
