Additional delays at the Sinclair to affect three shows this weekend

Cambridge's latest addition to the rock club circuit, THE SINCLAIR, has once again delayed its opening due to unforeseen construction delays. The 525-person-capacity Harvard Square venue, which will also feature a 104-seat restaurant headed up by Michael Schlow, posted a note on its home page this afternoon detailing three weekend shows affected by the delay: tonight's Death Grips show, which has been re-scheduled to a date TBA; tomorrow's Allen Stone gig, which was relocated to Royale; and Sunday's previously sold-out Trash Talk and Mellowhype show, which has been cancelled outright.

Last month, Bowery Boston, the company that operates the Sinclair, rescheduled nine shows to its affiliated clubs, Royale and T.T. The Bear's Place, after being unable to open on its targeted date of October 30.

The next show on the Sinclair calendar is Duncan Sheik's Sunset Sessions Tour, which comes to town November 21. Additional shows that round out November are High On Fire (11/24), Title Fight (11/27), Tanlines (11/28), White Rabbits (11/29), and Titus Andronicus (11/30). As of now, those shows are still a go.

Dear Friends of The Sinclair,

From the entire team at The Bowery Presents: Boston, we are very sorry to report that due to unexpected construction delays, The Sinclair will not open on November 16th as we had anticipated. With that said, it is with great disappointment that we have to cancel or reschedule the following artist performances:

Friday November 16: Death Grips has been rescheduled. A new date will be announced shortly. All tickets will be honored, refunds are also available at the point of purchase.

Saturday November 17: Allen Stone has been reschuduled to January 20th at Royale. All tickets will be honored, refunds are also available at the point of purchase. (More Tickets have been made available and can be purchased online here.)

Sunday November 18: Trash Talk and Mellowhype has been cancelled, refunds available at the point of purchase.
