Take 2 – so for, what, the first time ever (?), Boston Accents is on the air in back-to-back days, and this evening we welcomed Holden Lewis from PRETTY & NICE into the WFNX.com studio, chatting about their new self-released EP and record release party tonight at Store 54 in Allston. Check out today's Cellars by Starlight column on the band by Perry Eaton in today's Phoenix, and show details + the full playlist are below...

INFINITY GIRL “Please Forget” – Blazing out of the gates with the Cambridge quartet who play a benefit organized by Clicky Clicky Music Blog for Community Servings at Great Scott on Wednesday, November 7 alongside Guillermo Sexo, Johnny Foreigner, and Speedy Ortiz. Even though debut album Stop Being On My Side dropped earlier this year, IG are already working on a new record.

SOCCER MOM “Brides” – New track from skygazing crew who just dropped two new songs, “Brides” and “A Canoe Shy” off 100m Records, and they say CDs will be available when they play Great Scott with Tamaryn on Monday.

GENTLEMEN HALL “Golden Age” – Another new track from our buds in GHall, and this one is doing some damage on Hype Machine.

PRETTY & NICE “Yonkers” – Holden Lewis of Pretty & Nice is in the studio, and when he’s not accepting 120 free burritos, he’s talking about his band’s Boloco-sponsored, Phoenix-presented record release party tonight at Store 54 in Allston

PRETTY & NICE “Capsules” – Here’s the first single off P&N’s Us You All We.

EARTHQUAKE PARTY “Pretty Little Hand” – We won’t even get into the EqP segment, but while we round up some of their newer tracks, here’s a classic joint from earlier in the year. Earthquake Party and Lady Bones.

PRETTY & NICE “Tora Tora Tora” – Throwback P&N jam, see you tonight, doors at 8pm, respect the space.

PARKS “Sweater Weather” – New music from Brian E. King of Oranjuly, feeling this jangle-pop sound. Parks perform what might be their debut show at TT The Bear’s Place with Dear Leader on November 16.

CUFFS “Private View” – Previewing Homegrown IV, and in today’s Phoenix organizer Dan Shea curated our Weekly Playlist, featuring this band, Cuffs, as well as…

ARVID NOE “Supermoon” … Arvid Noe, and Guerilla Toss, Sore Eros, and Happy Jawbone Family Band. Here’s the event page for the two-day fest, which features nearly 40 bands from New England and beyond.

BEAR LANGUAGE “The Ventriloquist, Part 2” – The experimental indie rock quartet brings their sensory-overload stage show to the Middle East on November 15.

MIC RAYGUN “Try Me” – New track from the Raygun, digging the beat on this.

COLOR CHANNEL “Get To Know The Person Next To You” – The Allston crew balooned to nine members last night for their set as LCD Soundsystem at Great Scott, but they go back to their dance party originals at the Middle East with the Indobox on November 10.

CONVERGE “Coral Blue” – Picked by Phoenix editor Carly Carioli to close out the show, a deeper cut from latest record All We Love We Leave Behind, and maybe the first time Converge has ever been played on WFNX. The mass metalcore dudes hit Royale on November 12.
