Patrick Pit? The day Deval met Angelakos [photo]

So this just happened. 

We got a tip that Mass. Governor Deval Patrick would be in the same Cambridge airspace this afternoon as beloved local synth-pop stars Passion Pit. True enough: they were both on hand to help break ground for the new 300,000-square foot North American headquarters of the Swedish language/travel firm Education First. 

On stage, Patrick said he was keeping his remarks short because he realized "everyone just wants to see Passion Pit." Before their set, Patrick warmly greeted Pit singer Michael Angelakos, who took the stage for a secret, stripped down set minutes later.
