Boston Music Awards return to the Liberty Hotel on December 2
And it's back to the Liberty Hotel we go, as the BOSTON MUSIC AWARDS will return on Sunday, December 2, according to a post a few minutes ago on the organization's Facebook. Last year's big winners were the Dropkick Murphys (Artist of the Year, Live Artist of the Year), David Wax Museum (Song of the Year for "Born With A Broken Heart"), and Mean Creek (Album/EP of the Year for Hemophiliac). Others who took home some hardware were Moufy, Cambridge rock club the Middle East, producer Ed Valauskas, Viva Viva, and Gentlemen Hall (that's Seth Hachen up there sporting some sweet BMA fashions).
And we're baaaaaaaack. The 2012 Boston Music Awards will once again be at the Liberty Hotel. December 2nd. Keep tuned in to our page here for future updates including nominations and performances. YEAH!
Get ur popcorn ready. Last year we rented out a room several floors above the party, and broadcasted Boston Accents (RIP) live from a hotel room bathroom. I believe we had Earthquake Party, Big Digits, Ja Hills and a bunch of others in the tub with us. It was a lovely little shitshow, and we're already plotting how to properly crash this year's event.
