[new musics] Dear Leader "Make The Music Loud Enough"
Been a busy Friday for new releases around Boston, as DEAR LEADER just joined Streight Angular, Bearstronaut, and others in suddenly posting fresh musical sounds for the world to enjoy. And it comes at the right time: with all the Death of WFNX talk suffocating the interwebs and radio waves around Boston, what this city really needs right now are a few good Aaron Perrino screams.
On new track "Make The Music Loud" enough, the man who also splits time fronting the Sheila Devine gives us just what the doctor ordered towards the end of this gloomy indie rock parader. It's pretty refreshing, and we can all use a good scream these days. And, as usual, what Perrino tells us here is true: If we make the music loud enough, we won't hear the world fall apart."
But will it save us from zombie apocalypse?
Catch Dear Leader along with Aunt Martha on a Rock On! Concert Cruise around our lovely harbor on July 13. Until then, grab "Make The Music Loud Enough" at the cost of your own choosing via Bandcamp.
