[kid bopped] Juliet's "My First Hardcore Song" blows up internet with plush-toy fury
An 8-year-old Australian girl known as JULIET has unveiled “My First Hardcore Song,” a floor punch provoking ode to her dog and her fish. Many serious aficionados of the genre may be quick to point out that “My First Hardcore Song” is really more of a metal song. Then again, why get prickly about a misclassification of style when ZOMG STUFFED ANIMAL MOSH PIT!!! IZ SO COOT!!!!
Produced by Rob Sharpe, who HuffPo reports is her dad (shocker), “My First Hardcore Song” marks a bold departure from Juliet’s previous video projects which include one where she loses a tooth and one where she finds out she’s going to be a big sister (aww).
This thing was posted today and has already racked up more than 60,000 views, so let’s hope her parents stash that fat youtube cash away in a college fund. Also, let’s hope Fucked Up recruit her to sing guest vocals on their next album.
