[wtf] Higher and higher: getting help at Compassionpit.com

Stumbled upon this today, and it's pretty awesome. Compassionpit.com is motivational chat room, where you can "get it off your chest without it biting you in the ass." Users interact anonymously, dealing with "life's issues," sharing gripes, concerns, and problemos, dropping all sorts of It gets better's for troubled folk young and old around the world. It's like Chat Roulette but with good intentions and way less cock. 

And sweet Mary of Manners it's called COMPASSION PIT. There's also a bulletin board for missed connections. They shoulda called it: "I Ain't Got Your Number." 

After posting it on Facebook, I summoned PASSION PIT keyboardist Ayad Al Adhamy for his thoughts. It already has more than 8,500 likes on the social networking site, so I figured the band knew about it. Hell, maybe they created it (explaining the lack of a new record, ahem). His reponse, and I quote: "hahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahaha."
