[listen up] Hallelujah The Hills rally up the "Amateurs" on new holdover single
Oh hey hump day, you've just been sassed by a new HALLELUJAH THE HILLS single.
As the Boston sextet puts the touches on a third record set to surface early next year, Ja Hills today unveiled two new tracks -- the building, spell-it-all-out a-side "Amateurs" and moody, but eventually rather uplifting, b-side "The Girls Are Here" -- which are holdovers. The two tracks won't be featured on the new album.
Check out the tracks on Bandcamp, which can be yours to own for a small fee. What is free of charge, however, is this quote dapper gent Ryan Walsh and his band of merry men have left us with on this overcast Wednesday: "The world's greatest thinkers have often been amateurs; for high thinking is the outcome of fine and independent living, and for that a professional chair offers no special opportunities" - Havelock Ellis
Hallelujah the Hills play the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain this Friday, November 18. They'll play these songs, but only if you memorize them.
