[awesome video alert] Audible Mainframe - "Ready to Fly"

No doubt some of the most difficult news on the Boston music scene this year - not to mention in the larger hip-hop community - has been that MC Exposition of Audible Mainframe was diagnosed with cancer, and is currently in Boston undergoing treatment. Expo - or Victor, as close homeys and family members call him - is a brilliant force of nature, not to mention a talented progressive writer and MC the likes of which hip-hop heads rarely encounter these days.

I was holding out for the official announcement of a Boston benefit show to write about this tough situation (details on that TBA), but could no longer wait once I saw Audible's video for "Ready to Fly" (below). This is one of the tightest bands in every way - from their distinct sound to the way that these guys hang and live together, and that comes through in spades here, as the gang's salute to their formidable front man might be the most kickass get well salutation that anyone could ever ask for.
