New York City disco-noir duo THE GOLDEN FILTER this week released the trailer for a new short film collaboration with Scandinavian director Kristoffer Borgli. Syndromes “centres around a girl with unique talents, entwined in an elite underworld only known to the wealthy.” Looks fairly intriguing.
As part of the collabo, The Golden Filter will release six new songs as part of the film’s soundtrack, including this one from the trailer, the throbbing, seductive “Mother,” which once again oozes with Penelope Trappes’ post-apocalyptic sex appeal and Stephen Hindman’s primal back-room electro pulses.
Syndromes, the film and soundtrack, is released October 10 on the Golden Filter’s own label, Perfectly Isolated, and we’re told the Vinyl Factory will drop a limited-edition wax run of the soundtrack.
Keep following that golden fox, kids.
