Depeche Moe (Moe Pope + Depeche Mode) Listening Party Tonight @ Symphony 8

Us Boston music writers need to find a new angle from which to cover Moe Pope, since that whole "most tragically slept-on act in the Hub" shit no longer applies. What we have here is an example of hustle plus skills paying off, as Moe and his crew have finally hit the forefront of the local music scene in the past few months.

Show-wise, Moe, Rain, and Christopher Talkin smacked up last night's Black Milk show at Wonderbar (they rocked as Quills with members of Wobblesauce) - and this Saturday they play the already sold-out Bad Rabbits jump-off at the Middle East. Before the latter, though, is tonight's Depeche Moe listening and Annie Mulz t-shirt release party at Symphony 8 in Back Bay.

Two weeks ago, we leaked the first single off Moe's Depeche Mode-meets-Life After God mash-up project (which was handled by Rain and Headnodic).
