Dropkick Murphys announce St. Patrick's Day gigs

UPDATE: Tickets to all shows are now $32.50, reports Live Nation this morning... 

In continuing what is now a Boston-area tradition, Dropkick Murphys today announced three shows on and around St. Patrick’s Day:

Thursday, March 17 at the House of Blues

Friday, March 18 at the House of Blues

Saturday, March 19 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell

Tickets to each show go on sale this Saturday, October 16 at 10 a.m. via livenation.com. The Boston dates are priced at $22.50 and $25 day of show (888-745-3000, houseofblues.com/boston and Orpheum box office) and the Lowell show is $33.50 (866-722-8780, Tsongas Center box office). There will be tickets available for the two Boston dates at the House of Blues box office, but only at 6 p.m. before each show, and if there are any tickets left.

There’s a 7 p.m. door time for each show, and support acts have yet to be announced.
