[phlipcam video] LCD Soundsystem @ the Orpheum

Me attempting to review last night's LCD Soundsystem show at the Orpheum can best be likened to me reviewing pizza. Or my parents. My fanboy tendencies for James Murphy know no bounds. But I can say without bias that of the three times I've seen the band on this tour in support of This Is Happening (with the previous two coming at festivals), this was far and away the best performance. For this second leg of their globe-spanning tour, they've revamped the setlist to include more new songs. And when they took to the stage with the opening synth whomps of "Dance Yrself Clean", I just about melted. This is allegedly their final tour, so I'd suggest catching them at any cost.
