Shit show is really the only way to sum up the scene for last night's HARD Tour stop at the House of Blues. In the above video you can peep Rusko, who has garnered quite the buzz for himself. Even though it was Crystal Castles that closed the show, Rusko is the reason it was hella sold out. The audible distortion isn't because it was recorded on a 3-inch video camera, but because it was that friggen loud. For a snapshot of the scene, take note of the balcony in the left of the video. The entire audience can best be summarized by that one kid violently waving his shirt and the 16-year-old kids dry humping like only 16-year-old kids can.And that's the charming Toronto duo Crystal Castles in all their strobe-lit glory. Alice Glass probably spent more time on top of the crowd than on the stage, and the audience strove to match her intensity, with hands and water in the air for the whole show. At one point, their after-midnight performance came to an abrupt halt because apparently a fire alarm was going off. Except no one could hear it. Perhaps our eardrums had collectively been blown thanks to six hours of wobbling dubstep and stabbing electronica. A part of "Alice Practice" can be seen above and below is "Crimewave" in its entirety.
