FNX New England Product playlist 08.01.10

New England Product, WFNX 101.7 FM's weekly Sunday night local music show, is no more. Starting Aug. 8, FNX will launch the freshly-minted Boston Accents, which shifts to a friendlier time slot of 8 to 10 p.m. while keeping most of the main ingredients intact -- most notably host Dave Duncan and a shitload of music bred right here in New England.

“Boston music began defining itself for the world decades ago, as smart, edgy, and – regardless of the era or genre – unapologetically New England,” said 'FNX VP of Broadcast Operations Mike Tierney. “Today’s artists continue to reflect those attributes. Dave Duncan has it all too. He’s equal parts music fan, broadcaster, cheerleader, and ambassador to the people making the music. We’re lucky to have him on our team, and excited to hear him on the new Boston Accents.”

FNX has been broadcasting a local music show weekly since 1984, so no doubt Boston Accents will continue that tradition. In case you missed last night's show, here's a recap of the playlist:
