Tonight + Tomorrow: Drug Rug headline a month's worth of free shows at HOB's Front Room

When we think of the House of Blues, we don't normally think of a cheap night out on the town. But for five nights a week throughout the month of May, the HOB is offering free local music in its Front Room (the part generally reserved for dining). I'm not exactly sure what can be attributed to this rare fit of generosity, but I'm not complaining -- and when you see what's on the roster, neither will you.

The monthlong festivities got under way last Saturday, but tonight and tomorrow night's shows hold a special place in our hearts, as former Best Music Pollsters Drug Rug take up residency. And tomorrow night they'll be joined by fellow psych-folksters and current BMP nominee, Quilt. Also, word on the street is that Drug Rug will be hitting the stage as Jónsi finishes up in the big brother venue, so if you are catching the Sigur Rós frontman either night, there's really no excuse to not drop in next door and support some local acts.

There doesn't seem to be much information on the internets other than the flyer below, but really, what more do you need to know other than it's free and there's $3 tall boys. Peep the rest of the lineup to see if anything piques your interest and head on Lans-down (har har).
