Boston does Christmas: Sarah Borges covers Tom Petty's "Christmas All Over Again"

Not a bad year for SARAH BORGES. After touring relentlessly behind her record The Stars Are Out -- the only country record we own with a Magnetic Fields song on it -- she made it back home just in time to pick up a Best Music Award for Americana Act of the Year. Over the weekend, she made it out to the Regent in Arlington to cover TOM PETTY's take on the holiday season, a faithful rendition except that in place of Tom's request for a Rickenbacher and a xylophone, Sarah asks for "another girl in the band."  Click above for holiday wonderfulness . . .

Recorded live at the Regent Theater in Arlington on December 13, 2009 for a "Rock N Soul Revue" to benefit the Music Museum of New England.
