Help us prevent Chester French from covering "Birthday Sex"
Harvard-educated pop chimps CHESTER FRENCH have been getting their swag on by Twittering with hip-hop luminaries, touring with Blink-182, and (see above) playing "She Loves Everybody" for any radio station that'll have 'em. But we fear they're about to make a huge, ginormous mistake.
CF have announced that they'll pull a Beck post YouTube vids of themselves covering random Top 40 hits on the regular, and to kick things off they're polling fans to determine what the jumpoff is gonna be. The nominees are: RINGLEADER MAN by T. Pain; Shakira's new single SHE WOLF; Miley Cyrus's PARTY IN THE USA; and . . . Jeremih's BIRTHDAY SEX.
Now look: we love "Birthday Sex" as much as anyone. We just don't want to hear these dudes anywhere near it, for fear that we'll never be able to listen to any version of this song ever again. Of course, that's exactly what they're going to end up covering if the current voting stands.
So we beg of you: heeelllllp uuuuusssss! Vote for anything -- anything -- except Jeremih. We're throwing our muscle at the nearest contender -- right now "Birthday Sex" is neck and neck with Miley, which is really more CF's speed, no?
