After pwing our Best Music Poll, Passion Pit set sights on MTV VMAs

You came out in droves to vote PASSION PIT into the top slot in four categories of our annual BEST MUSIC POLL, then filled City Hall Plaza over the weekend when they played a shit-hot set at the 2009 BMP Concert. 

Next stop: Radio City. 

Passion Pit's "The Reeling" was nominated for "Breakthrough Video" in the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (September 13), and they're gonna need some help, because they're up against some fairly amazing names: Bat for Lashes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Major Lazer, Matt & Kim, Death Cab, and Gnarls Barkley. As the saying goes, that's why it's an honor to be nominated. If you want to vote for Passion Pit, you can do so here.
