Bonnaroo So Far: Day 3 - Sonofabitch we didn't get photo approval for Springsteen

Oh motherfucker. I know I shouldn't complain because this press badge gets me air conditioning occasionally and free bottled water always (saved me hundreds of dollars right there), but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They just posted the list of outlets allowed into the photo pit for Bruce Springsteen, and we didn't make the cut. Not that I'm complaining. But the Huffington Post did get approved. Does the Huffington Post even cover music? I thought they split their coverage between praising Obama, highlighting Angelina Jolie's charity projects and then posting pictures dogs looking adorable. Unless....is Bruce Springsteen going to pull that Mr. Winkie dog on stage for Dancing in the Dark? SCOOP! Also, this morning, I listened to Jimmy Buffett play Margaritaville while waiting in line to take a shower. Not that the song didn't shower me with "party." I just needed some soap too. Just now getting out of the most bizarre press conference ever. It included: Buffett, Robyn Hitchcock, Margaret Cho, and Robert Kennedy Jr. Not quite sure what was talked about, but the consensus was Bonnaroo is awesome. That's press-worthy? Up today: Allen Toussaint, Booker T and the Drive-By Truckers, Bon Iver, The Boss (from a distance), Nine Inch Nails...probably sleep. Hopefully sleep.
