Bonnaroo So Far: Day 3 - Oh, I forgot, there were good things too

Okay, so that last post was ugly. I'm not proud of it. But I leave it up for the sake of emotional honesty, and also because I'm not entirely sure how to delete it and the internet is crawling here. Some thoughts on last night: one of the things I love about Bonnaroo is how the schedule combines with my crippling inability to make decisions into a magical groove of regret. I sat on the risers watching David Byrne and his dancers dazzle the crowd on the second stage (the “Which” stage), and yet all I could think about was how awesome the Beastie Boys set sounded from across the campground. The knowledge that I would never be sure of its ass-kickingness gnawed at me almost as much as the Staph infection I’m pretty sure I contracted when my poncho fell on the floor of the Porto Potty and then I put it on anyway. Still, it’s a good problem to have (the indecision, not the urgent need for antiobiotics). I'll try to keep it in mind when I'm running laps in the dust to get to Bon Iver and Booker T.
