Davis Square on the Edge
For those people who were lucky enough to score tickets to the ultra low-key U2 show tonight, they’ll have to literally ‘run’ through the fervent crowd ‘to stand still’ for the show. There are an expected 10,000 fans that have already begun to hound the streets for a glimpse of Bono. Davis Square residents, however aren’t all too happy with the sudden havoc that the band’s inflicted on their town.
@02144now: loading for U2 happening now behind Somerville theater. Streets closed, no parking, etc...
wilto: Dear U2: What would posess you to play Davis Square, of all places? Go have opinions for a living elsewhere, so I can go home.
monkeykate: Jason and I just agreed that U2 should personally apologize to each resident of Davis Sq. When the door opens, I'll kick 'em in the balls.
drinkerthinker: is unreasonably pissed-off that there's a guy in U2 named "The Edge"
