If you're one of the few, the proud, the people who get into tonight's super-rare Converge hall show in Central Square, remember to thank the RIAA. Be for real, now: Converge does not play these kinds of shows anymore. They're currently on the road with Mastodon playing small theatres on a tour that ends with them hooking up with Slayer. The only reason they're at the Elks tonight is that Mastodon got nominated for Best Metal Performance and flew off to wherever the hell it is they hold the Grammys. So keep your head up, good luck, and we'll have photos on the other side of the carnage.
