Drip, drop: Thom Yorke solo album Eraser leaked

For the past three weeks young Will Spitz has been scouring the internerd for all the new Radiohead songs, he's been sitting under that Jimi Hendrix poster in his cube with the headphones glued on, a look of mesmerized glee plastered to his mug. Since the Radioheads are coming and all, we figured he might as well make up for all that lost work time and write about them. Before you head down to the Pavilion on Sunday, you might want check out his song-by-song guide to the new isht you're likely to hear. (Scroll to bottom for where-to-cop web links.)
Meantime, if you weren't in front of your computer yesterday, Thom Yorke's solo album The Eraser leaked and all hell -- bloggily speaking -- broke the fuck loose. Hype Machine was pretty much all Thom, all the time, as everyone and their mother rushed to get their four favorite songs on their site by noon. Yeah, we got that .rar file, too. But we're fucking busy. And early reports kept making reference to Kid A (whateverrrr, dudes), so we made Will listen to it. ("Made," hah: he had it before we did.) Not like Yung Spitz is unbiased -- R-head's like his fave band ever. Huh. Kids. -- but he has already issued a verdict. "After two close listens," he sez, "I'm pretty sure it's amazing." Pretty sure? "It's better than all that new Radiohead stuff." What?! Sacrilege!
OK, we wouldn't post this thing with a ten foot pole, but some of these people and these people might know about it. If you can find "Black Swan," that one's pretty cool.
