The future of rock

If you read the Fader, you're aware that Mr. Andrew Wilkes-Krier no longer looks the way he does in the above photo. He now looks sort of like late-period Mike Patton: slicked-back hair, innocuous yet sleazy polyester office uniform in beige, wristwatch. We will be anxiously Flickr-ing all weekend in search of pix from his first official comeback gig. Even though we're convinced it's part of an elaborate publicity stunt, we're still ridiculously amused by the mad conspiracy theories floating around on the AWK board. So fun! Album #3 is due next year. In the meantime, he's leaking two new songs which we provide to comfort everyone who can't make it to California tonight . . .
