'Lude, Stu'd, and tattoo'd

After putting the breaks on Cracktorch this spring to pursue other projects, drummer and New Alliance Recording Studio mainstay Nick Zampiello reveals his hand when his new band STU WALKER play the Middle East. The band’s debut CD, Theft, Arson, Murder and Death (imagine a collaboration between the Andrews Sisters and Wiseblood), received a limited release from the local indie Odd Halo, and a second album is almost complete. As with everything the degenerate Nick Z is involved with, its Beefheartian metallinarcotic technofrazzle is reflective of his "love of anything noir, dangerous, mysterious, sexy, and dirty."
