Hot And Coldplay

Yeah, Coldplay aren't an arena rock band. They just sell out 30,000 seat amphitheaters wherever their tour trucks may roam. That said, a scalped $40 lawn seat for Saturday night's Tweeter Center blowout would've provided you with a chance to:

1) Sneak your way into the circle pit and rub elbows with Gwyneth, who was sans Apple and sporting a classic Margot Tenenbaum-style boredom-stare.

2) Witness Chris Martin turning Parachutes' closing track "Everything's Not Lost" into . . . a tailgating song? "When I counted all my corn-dogs/Made sure there was one for every beer." Then he forgot the actual lyrics halfway through and let an f-bomb slip. Though in the end, the packed crowd was too busy singing along at the top of their lungs to notice.
