This just in from the Archambault campaign:
Steve Archambault, Democratic candidate for Attorney General, today announced that Samantha Cotter has been hired to serve as his campaign manager. Cotter will be responsible for coordinating all day-to-day campaign activities. Samanth Cotter served as a New Hampshire field organizer for President Obama in the 2008 general election--a winning state for Obama. She also worked as a field organizer for Ned Lamont' s campaign for US Senate in Connecticut. Cotter is a graduate of Hofstra University. She is a resident of Cranston. Steve Archambault said, "Samantha Cotter's grassroots organizing ability and all around skills make her a tremendous asset to my campaign."
Archambault, who serves as a Councilman in Smithfield, would bring a broad legal background to the Attorney General's office. His experience as a police officer, local Prosecutor and defense attorney gives him a first-hand understanding of all elements of the criminal justice system.
