Mod Party has legislative endorsements

Ken Block and his Moderate Party have some General Assembly endorsements. Ken sends this word:

I expect a few more candidates to ask for endorsements as time moves on. To be endorsed, a candidate must commit to making the MP’s legislative agenda the candidate’s legislative priority if elected.

Also, we have firmed up our first fund raiser for the MPRI at Bob Healey’s Cheese Plate in Warren for Monday August 18th from 5 to 7 pm. We are asking $25/person. The event will feature cheeses from around the world, and of course wine. We have asked all of our endorsed candidates to attend, where we will be providing them the opportunity to address the attendees. More on this event will follow.

A web page is being developed for our web site which will have bios and head shots of all endorsed candidates. This page should be up by tomorrow, and can be found at www.moderate-ri.org
