Budget vote slated for this afternoon

From the General Assembly:

STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Committee is expected to vote on the 2009 state budget this afternoon.

The committee has posted a hearing on the plan (2008-H 7390) at 1 p.m. today, although the meeting is now expected to begin at approximately 2 p.m. It will take place in Room 35 in the basement of the State House.

The hearing will be broadcast live on Capitol Television, which can be seen on Channel 15 for Cox Communications and Full Channel cable subscribers and Channel 34 for Verizon subscribers.
