West upbeat on Hillary's electability

Although the general election electability of Hillary Clinton remains a hot topic, establishment Democrats seem to feel confident about the Dem frontrunner and her ability to overcome antipathy from a swath of the American public. They aren't alone in feeling this way.

Speaking on the 10 News Conference broadcast yesterday, Brown University's Darrell West said that the widespread unpopularity of George W. Bush has solved Hillary's electability problem. Bush's high negative ratings have so poisoned the atmosphere for Republicans, West said, that some of Hillary's previous hurdles have been greatly diminished.
