Timothy DelGiudice, US Representative Jim Langevin's deputy district director, is leaving to take a position with Raytheon in Portsmouth. Press secretary Joy Fox will assume most of DelGiudice's responsibilities when he leaves June 1, taking on the title of director of communications and community outreach while maintaining her duties with the press.
The changes are due to be announced later today.
DelGiudice's previously worked as a case worker, field representative and director of constiuent services for then-US Representative Bob Weygand in the late '90s. From 1998 to 2000, he also worked as a member of Bill Clinton's advance team.
Fox, a RIC graduate, has worked for Langevin since 2005. She previously handled media relations for the RI Department of Corrections and worked for outlets including the Providence Business News and WJAR.
