Taricani on source confidentiality

The tangled tale was a quintessential Rhode Island story.

In this week's Phoenix, Taricani writes about the journalistic fallout of the Scooter Libby conviction. In particular, Jim believes that a limited federal shield law would be better than a status quo in which reporters are increasingly threatened with imprisonment if they don't reveal their confidential sources.
