BioShock Infinite looks pretty cool

Last week, Irrational Games, the studio of Ken Levine, the creator of BioShock, unveiled its next title: BioShock Infinite, which appears, more or less to be BioShock set in some kind of City in the Clouds (or possibly on an airship), rather than the underwater city of the Rapture. Today, in an interview with Kotaku's Stephen Totilo, Levine expands upon the game and its connection to the original BioShock. It seems more like a spiritual successor than a direct one: not necessarily set in the same universe or as part of the same storyline, but still retaining the feel of the "proper" BioShock games. Specifically, two things sound extremely different this time around: first, the addition of a non-playable character (the woman you're rescuing, in fact) who can help set up some of your attacks, and secondly, the Skyline, which sounds like some kind of train system. But mostly, that setting seems like it could be really cool.
