ICY HOT: The Stanley Cup

No disrespect to Larry O'Brien, Vince Lombardi, or the commissioner of Major League Baseball, but Lord Stanley's Cup is the coolest trophy in professional sports. It's big and beautiful. Fun and flawed. It's made for the people, and made to party. Even better, thanks to the Bruins' historic (and, at times, nail-biting and sleep-depriving) run through the NHL playoffs, it's back in Boston, one of the world's great hockey towns. And it's here all summer long. Since their Game 7 win over Vancouver, Bruins players have already raised the Cup at bars and restaurants throughout Boston - even at a barbershop. With each player getting a few days with it to do as he wishes, it's sure to be seen out many more times before the fall. So let the Red Sox have their pink hats. This year's best bandwagon is painted black and gold.
