Another epicurean accolade

Cooking Light magazine's latest issue lists Portland in its "Hidden Gems and Delicious Destinations" feature. Four establishments get a special shout-out:

Just off Monument Square at Portland Public Market House, Kamasouptra offers options expected (creamy Clam Chowder) and less-so (Beer and Cheddar made with a Red Ale from nearby Sebago Brewing). Fabiana de Savino and Enrico Barbiero, the husband-and-wife team behind Paciarino, prepare handmade scallops-and-haddock ravioli, while Middle Street’s Bresca is redefining the sandwich. El Rayo Taqueria, housed in a former garage, offers excellent fish tacos and roasted pumpkin seeds while sister restaurant El Rayo Cantina has a menu that boasts nearly 30 tequilas.

Speaking of tequila...Happy Friday!
