Al Hawkes on MPBN

The Eventful Life of Al Hawkes, a film about Al Hawkes, Event Records, and Maine country music, will be on the television stations of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network tomorrow and Saturday, as well as New Year's Day and January 6.

(Times: Thursday, December 2 at 8 pm | Saturday, December 4 at 3:30 pm | Saturday, January 1 at 11 am | Thursday, January 6 at 10 pm)

Hawkes, Event Records's founder, is still working to preserve the recordings he has made over the years. The movie is made by Rockhouse Mountain Productions.
