Tea Party rally in Augusta - same day as Colbert/Stewart in DC

If you can't make it to the Colbert/Stewart rally in DC on October 30, consider heading up to Augusta from 1 to 4 pm, when the Maine Patriots and the Maine Refounders will hold a rally in Capitol Park.

Here's the release, which says they're going to let politicians and civil-service workers "know that we are here, we are watching, and the old game is over!" But they're going to do without signs, which should be left "at home."

Saturday, October 30, 2010
1 PM - 4 PM
Capitol Park - Augusta

East of the State House

This is a We The People event. You will not find candidates or politicians talking to you about
themselves and turning our party into a campaign rally. We will gather at
our state capitol and let the political and civil service establishments know
that we are here, we are watching, and the old game is over !

They need to understand that we are not going away after
election day, that they will be held accountable,
that they MUST follow the U.S. Constitution,
and our Maine Constitution.

- attendees should bring seating & other comfort needs & leave their signs at home
