Do you know Christopher Owens?

A long story in the New Yorker this week describes, among many other things, the shooting death of a suspected wild-animal poacher in Zambia in 1995, including allegations by the cameraman who got the murder on film that Christopher Owens, son of well-known conservationist Mark Owens, was the trigger man.

Christopher Owens has close ties to Maine, the article details, including a criminal record for animal cruelty, according to the New Yorker piece. He has lived, the story says, in Biddeford, Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, Belfast, and Palmyra. And from what the author describes, it sounds like some cops in Zambia might like to at least talk to him.
