Radio Free Maine goes Google Video

Roger Leisner of Radio Free Maine does a pretty impressive job getting his video and audio recordings of progressive thinkers' talks out to the people of Maine. For many years he has offered his videos and audios for rent at Videoport - and adds more on a pretty regular basis. So head down there and check them out.

He also lets people download (for a few bucks) recordings from his pages on LearnOutLoud.com and AudioBookDeals.com. (There are free samples at ThinkTwiceRadio.com, too.)

And this guy (who spends most of his time - as far as we can tell, at least - traveling around the state to talks, readings, and other presentations) has added Google Video to his arsenal. There's a 28-minute video preview of Brazilian eco-socialist Michael Lowy's 90-minute talk and Q&A session on May 2 in Boston, about current events:

We hope it's the beginning of more online-enabled activism and communication from Roger.
