Maine's gas prices are relatively cheap

Sure, the average Maine price of $3.716 per gallon is slightly higher than the national average. But it's still far cheaper than the poor sods in New Zealand, where, in one remote town, gas prices hit NZ$2.21 per liter yesterday. Doing the conversion for both currency and units of volume leads to a price of US$6.43 per gallon - 73 percent higher than what we're paying.
