PROTEST - Peace demo on the Casco Bay Bridge

Portland's Green rep John Eder is soliciting activists for an anti-war demonstration on the city's Casco Bay Bridge. Called "Lights in the Darkness," the demonstration will coincide with the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq War.

Bring a candle or lantern to the bridge on Sunday, March 12 at 6 pm. If you don't have a candle, there will be some available. The plan is to create a line of white lights across the bridge in memory of the lives lost in the war. Contact John Eder for more.
